Funny girl!

I really love to ride the subway. Traveling alone, gives you time to think, to feel and really look around (inside and outside). I love to watch other people. It's such a mixture of so many different people and cultures. 

Sitting in Central park, having my dinner in Central park. Thinking about all what happened in Central park. I've spend so much time here. With so many people. So many stories. And one in pacticular! I love the Park, how coudn't I! I took a route I did't take before. Which was really cool and beautiful! 

Reading my pitch and thinking about my certainty story I wrote here in the park for a performance at The Institute in 2008, just a part of it: "why would you allow yourself to be happy? Being locked in your room, waiting for someone to unlock the door. Analyzing, looking for a reason, getting stuck, running. Trying to accept what's happening, but still waiting for someone to unlock that door. Knowing that you are the one who needs to unlock it. You are the one who needs to change it. Being certain that I want to walk out of that room, being happy!"  And now, my Pitch "I see you!"  It's a nice follow-up, 14 years later. 

OMG! I'm just blown away! I got my second Playbill of the week. I saw... Funny Girl! And I consider myself as the luckiest person in the world! Funny Girl is the first Broadway revival! Barbra Streisand was in the original Broadway cast in 1964. Believe it or not, but it started with "Hello gorgeous" said by the main character (played by Lea Michele, ow yeah!!!!!!) to herself while she looked in the mirror. It's all about a beautiful reflection. This is a musical how a musical is supposed to be. This is by far the best show I have ever seen (okay, okay, next to RENT and a few others) but OMG, Lea is so, so, so good. Her voice, OMG. She is incredible! You have heard her sing on Glee, but live, she is even better! All the singing, but also the dancing, amazing tap dancing, it's so, so good! You won't see this in the Netherlands..! After almost every song, people were clapping so hard for Lea, she got standing ovations after almost every song. And rightly so! Wow!!!! 🥰
