I have to say, this is the perfect hotel for me. Again, I started the morning off with a good swim. So nice!
I walked through Central Park to Harlem. I came across the Shakespeare garden with the Shakespeare in the park theater. That reminded me of waiting there in line to get free tickets for HAIR! Oh, that was amazing. Haven't been back to this theater since 2008. I went to Harlem just to breath in that vibe. Harlem didn't change much. The vibe is still kind of the same. You hardly see white people and there is music everywhere. Of course I went to Sylvia's to grab some soul food! And I walked back through Central Park, all the way to Times Square.
Spend the evening at Times Square. And had dinner at my most favourite diner! The Stardust diner with singing waitstaff! Just awesome! They sang one of my favourite songs from Les Mis! Although I know that song better in Dutch... 😏 And a song from the Book of Mormon! (Check the videos!) Just perfect for my last night in the city...
