Waking up in the city that never sleeps!

Waking up in the city that never sleeps! I first went for a swim this morning. I'm staying at the Y, and this Y across from Central Park, has two nice pools. It reminds me of working (and working out 😉) at the Y as an after school theater teacher in Basking Ridge NJ. Sweet memories! 

After my swim, I took the subway to Brooklyn. You feel it when you get of the train. Brooklyn really does have a different vibe. It's more friendly, more artistic, more cultural and more quiet. I love it! I first went to one of my favourite places at the waterfront. When I first came there in 2005, there was nothing, just the water, the stones and the bridge. I have seen it change over the years. They really made it into a nice park. But because it's so nice now, it is much more crowded... ah well, you can't have it all. 😉

I walked all the way to Park Slope and Prospect park. Also sweet, sweet memories! 😁 Ate some good mexican food in Park Slope and went to a gig in a great bar also in Park Slope. I had a really good time again! 😊 The subway back was all messed up, but I didn't bother, there was no time I had to be back. And I'm just enjoying riding the subway also after midnight. In three days I can't anymore...😕
