Exploring Manhattan!

I didn't really have a plan for today, which is totally not me, but it felt great. I got of the Path and decided I wanted to see the Memorial again. It's a special and emotional place. I've seen it (re)built over the years. I think they really made it a beautifull Memorial. 😊
I just love to walk around, I walked to the Brooklyn bridge, Chinatown, Little Italy, Nolita, Noho, Soho, to the ABC avenues and Tompkins Square park. Only a few know why, I can only say RENT! I walked to Union Square, the Flat Iron, 26th, just to see, "to feel" where the Institute for the Arts in Psychotherapy was and where so much happend. I walked to the beginning of the High Line, to walk it back to 14th street. To meet the family there, to go to Little Island. So far, the best things that happend to the city, after I left are definitely the High Line and Little Island. I walked the High Line before, but it wasn't there when I lived here. It's so gorgeous! And we had the most beautifull weather today! The High Line is an old railroad track, which is now a beautifull greenway, park. I had never been to Little Island. It's a Little Island in the Hudson at pier 54. The pier was damaged by Sandy and they made it into a really nice, artistic park!
The worsed thing that happend to NYC is definitely legalized weet... The smell is everywhere. You can't buy it in the city, people buy it in Jersey, but you are allowed to smoke it in the city... too bad... And something else, luckily, we are in a gun free zone... Crazy Americans... 🤔 Well, just check my photos..!
Can it get any better than this? 😁 I'm having the most awesome time! We had a nice dinner in a cute vegan restaurant. And I got my first Playbill of the week!!! Yeah!!! We saw The book of Mormon! It was so great! I feel so lucky that I was finally able to see this musical! It was so funny. The musical is all about making fun of religion, sexual allusions and a lot of "f*cking" in a real funny way! And that is all possible in NYC! 🤩
